Journey, Foreigner and Styx UK Tour

Now its all over and the bands have moved off to Europe it seems like the tour was received with mixed reviews.

Whilst Styx proved to be a surprise hit with the UK audiences, Foreigner and inparticularly “new” frontman Kelly Hansen excelled it seems that Journey were plagued with sound issues which they failed to react to. Was Neal Schons “beligerent” attitude with his band mates which he openly confessed to in the studio to have a heavier sound the issue?

Nevertheless Arnel Pineda is a fine replacement for Steve Perry (who incidentally does not have anything like the vocal range needed to perform their back catalogue) and excelled not only on stage despite the best effort of Schon but also the new Eclipse CD.
